Whistleblowing investigations

David can be appointed to act as an independent investigator in alleged whistleblowing cases.  By appointing an independent whistleblowing investigator to conduct the  investigation, you will ensure:

  • Impartiality. This is vital and it will give the worker confidence in the investigation process.
  • Experience. Whistleblowing is complex and it is often tied up with associated processes such as a disciplinary process. The investigator needs to have the right training and knowledge to conduct the investigation.

David’s experience in whistleblowing

David is an expert on whistleblowing law and advised employers and employees in relation to whistleblowing over many years. Recent reported case highlights included:

  • Dr J Macanovic v Portsmouth Hospital NHS Trust: 1400232/2018 – advising the employee on complex whistleblowing case. 
  • Ms B Skwarczynska v Sturts Community Trust: 1400540/2019  – advising employer on complex whistleblowing case.
